The latest updates to Graasp include an improved design for the content in the Player, username length restrictions, thumbnail management features in the builder, and upgraded GPT versions in the apps. Read further for more details!

Graasp Account​

  • The system now applies restrictions on length of usernames to ensure compliance with specified limits.
  • We have removed the option to delete the user account from the main page of the user account, it can now be found in the "Destructive Settings" page.

Graasp Builder​

  • Users now have the ability to delete thumbnails associated with items.
  • During the export process, only writers have the privilege to access hidden items.
  • Now, when copying an item, its thumbnails are also copied.
  • The interface introduces some visual changes. We're in the process of adding more changes in the future releases.
  • The resizing setting for images is fixed.
  • The settings page has been updated to improve overall consistency and appearance

Graasp Player​

  • Users are now allowed to leave their display names empty if they choose to do so.
  • The interface introduces some visual changes. We're in the process of adding more changes in the future releases.
    • Thumbnails for folder items are now shown next to the title for better visual recall and nicer lessons
    • We improved the display of folders
    • The navigation now shows some skeleton when loading to improve visual cues
    • The navigation island buttons have been redesigned. The name of the next and previous folders is not shown anymore, and pinned items and chatbox buttons are always shown, they are simply disabled when not in use.
    • The collapse element has been smoothed for a more consistent look.
    • More small changes and tweaks have been done to improve the overall look and feel.

Graasp Library​

  • The copy action on collections has been fixed. Previously it showed an empty modal when asking to select the destination of the copy.

Graasp Analytics​

  • Action names should now all be translated.
  • A small bug preventing users from seeing all their items in the recent items view has been fixed, now clicking "Show More" should be allowed until all items are displayed on the page.
  • Small issues have been fixed to improve the overall look of the recent items page. (Loading skeletons, thumbnails etc)

Apps​

  • GPT versions utilized by the platform have been upgraded to the latest available versions.
  • The height of the calculator app is improved.
  • An issue with the sizing of the quiz app in analytics has been resolved.
